My Bodybuilding Routine for 1/3/2008 - 6/22/2208




Now that 2007 has past, I feel it is time for a few changes to my current bodybuilding routine.

Some of my lifting goals were made a some were not. With the new year brings new goals and a new paln of attack.

My plan is to stay with the same basic exercises with a couple of new additions. I am also going to be changing the rep pattern for some of the exercises.

There were a few bodyparts that lagged behind last year and also a few that I feel got to much work.

Hopefully, with the changes I have made, the problems will be corrected.

Here is what my new workout looks like:

Monday


  • Shoulder Press - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • EZ Bar Curls - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • Squat - 1 set x 30 - 40 reps
  • Smith Machine One Legged Standing Calve Raises - 2 sets x 15 - 20 reps
  • Leg Raises - 3 sets x 20 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)


Thursday


  • Incline Bench - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • Reverse Pullups - 5 sets x 3 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)
  • Dips - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • Rack Deads - 5 sets x 3 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)
  • Crunches - 3 sets x 35 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)


Monday


  • Standing Barbell Push Press - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • Dumbbell Preacher Curl - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • Half Squat - 5 sets x 3 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)
  • Seated Calve Raises - 2 sets x 15 - 20 reps
  • Leg Raises - 3 sets x 20 reps (30 seconds rest between each set


Thursday


  • Bench Press - 5 sets x 3 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)
  • Pullups - 5 sets x 3 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)
  • Close Grip Bench Press - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • Deadlift - 1 set x 15 reps (done rest pause style)
  • Crunches - 3 sets x 35 reps (30 seconds rest between each set)
